Embed a height comparison on your site

Build a comparison on the HeightVersus board, copy its share link, paste it below, and copy the embed code. You get a responsive, to-scale comparison for your article or forum post, free, with a credit link back to HeightVersus.

Generate your embed code

Build a comparison on the board, tap “Copy share link”, and paste it here. The example above is a doorway comparison.

Silhouettes in your embed

Swap any silhouette or rename it. Your link above updates to match.

How it works

The embed is a small iframe that loads the same comparison board you see on HeightVersus, without the menus. Subjects, heights, units and any backdrop come from the link, so what you preview here is what your readers see. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

Backdrops (a UK door, a kitchen worktop, the back of a hatchback, a double-decker bus) are drawn at typical real-world sizes so a person's height reads against something familiar. They are illustrative: door and bus dimensions are typical UK figures, not a specific model.

Frequently asked questions

Is the embeddable height comparison free?

Yes. It is free for blogs, forums, articles and classroom pages. The only condition is that you leave the small credit link to HeightVersus under the embed, which is already part of the code you copy.

Does the embed slow my page down or track my visitors?

The comparison loads inside an iframe set to load lazily, so it only fetches when a visitor scrolls near it. The embedded view carries no ads, no consent banner and no analytics scripts.

Can I change the people or things being compared?

Yes. Build any comparison on the home page, including a real-world backdrop such as a doorway, copy its share link, and paste it into the generator. There you can swap any silhouette (400 to choose from, including animals, vehicles and landmarks) or rename it, and the embed always shows exactly that comparison, to scale.

Will it work on my site builder?

Any platform that lets you paste custom HTML (WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Squarespace code blocks, most forum software) can use it. If a platform blocks iframes, link to the comparison instead using the share link.

How tall should I make the embed?

The default of 480 px suits most layouts. Tall subjects such as a giraffe or a bus read better at 600 px or more; the width always fits its container up to 720 px.
